Jerrie Cobb – Her Quest for the Stars

By Lori Wyer

2006

Jerrie Cobb the pilot     For as long as she could remember, all Jerrie Cobb ever wanted to do was fly.  Since flying for the very first time when she was twelve years old, Jerrie is still soaring among the clouds.

Jerrie’s journey through life was a remarkable one.  From her early days in Norman, Okalahoma to her missionary flying in Amazona, Jerrie Cobb is a woman with amazing talent that got lost in the times.  She was most certainly a victim of her society.

Her story is one of determination, discrimination, and resignation . . . truly a sad tale.
